Available to students who identify as members of underrepresented and historically marginalized, excluded and diverse communities including: Aboriginal students, women and/or gender minorities in male-dominated programs, 2SLGBTQIA+ students, students with prolonged or persistent disabilities, single-parents or children of single-parents, visible minorities or racialized people, and eligible international students who are enrolled in one of the following programs: Occupational Health and Safety, Power Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Network Administrator, Digital Design – Visual Communication Design, Digital Design – Web Design, Game Development – Animation and Game Design, Game Development – Game Programming, IT Business Analysis, IT Systems Administration, Narrative Cinema Production, Software Development, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering Technology, Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Human Resources Management, Management, Marketing, Bachelor of Business Administration. Applicants will be required to submit a personal statement sharing their story and the barriers they are facing as a member of one of the groups identified above. Preference given to students who demonstrate financial need and satisfactory academic achievement.
