NAIT's Global Experience Award

NAIT’s Global Experience Award seeks to increase the number of NAIT students who are gaining intercultural skills through study abroad experiences that reflect the polytechnic model. This means we are dedicating financial support to students who are participating in a global education opportunity that aligns with their program outcomes, provides hands-on learning opportunities, and is led by one of NAIT’s instructors.
For students to access the global experience award, the faculty lead will submit a request to Global Education and Partnerships (GEP) on behalf of all participating students:
GEP will verify that the program meets the following criteria:
- Instructor-led global education opportunity with reputable partner (i.e. institution-to-institution partnership; not-for-profit partnership; international industry partnership);
- The opportunity to participate in the global education opportunity is available to all students taking the course
- The global experience has incorporated intercultural development into the program outcomes.
