Gina Goulet Memorial Award

This award was established in 2020 in memory of Gina Goulet, a Denturist From Nova Scotia who was dedicated to her patients’ needs and the advancement of the profession throughout her career. Forever remembered in the hearts of all her colleagues not only in Nova Scotia but across Canada, Gina Goulet’s earthly life came to a sudden end. Gina was as brave and courageous as they come, with a heart of gold and an “entusiasmo por la vida”. This loss was immense for the entire profession and it only feels right to honour Gina Goulet to bring support to a student who plans on practicing in the province that Gina loved so much.
Available to students enrolled in the third year of the Denturist Technology program at NAIT. Awarded on the basis of satisfactory academic achievement and a written essay of less that 500 works that addresses the statement “Demonstrate your passion to the Denturist profession through a commitment to caring for or helping others”. Preference will be given to students who will be relocating to Nova Scotia following graduation.
