The Four Directions Bursary
The Four Directions Bursary is for Aboriginal (First Nation (Status and Non-Status), M?tis, & Inuit) students who have been directly or indirectly impacted by the Canadian Indian Residential School system. This bursary is aligned with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action 10 and 11 to provide sufficient/adequate funding to Aboriginal students. NAIT is committed to supporting the full participation of Aboriginal peoples in higher education and removing barriers to Aboriginal student success.
The Four Directions Bursary is available to Aboriginal students in post-secondary degree, diploma and certificate programs, based on satisfactory academic achievement and demonstrated financial need. Applicants will need to provide a short written response outlining how this award will contribute to truth and reconciliation in post-secondary education and their personal post-secondary journey.
