Jaina Herbers Bursary

Chad and Christina Herbers have established this bursary to honor their daughter Jaina.

Jaina was a beautiful girl with long hair that was often braided, and she always had lovely painted nails. For her 12 years on earth, she travelled with the assistance of her pretty pink wheelchair. Jaina loved spending time outdoors with her family and caregivers in areas throughout St. Albert and Edmonton.

Throughout her life, she received care from a number of students, including many from the NAIT Respiratory Therapy Program.

Available to second year students enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy program at NAIT. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic achievement in the first year of the program.

Students must complete the application to be considered for this award.
