Darryl Mayan Bursary

In his 64 years, Darryl Grant Mayan continually brought kindness and integrity to everything he did. He touched countless students’ lives while instructing at NAIT for nearly 35 years. He challenged his students to stretch and grow. He gave feedback with such care that students walked away smiling no matter what the outcome. Darryl will be fondly remembered as NAIT’s resident food critic in our dining rooms. It is hoped that his bursary will provide a struggling student with opportunity to pursue their dreams.

Available to students enrolled in the second year of the Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Heavy Equipment Technology, or Network Engineering Technology program at NAIT. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and a minimum academic achievement of 75% in year one of their program. Preference will be given to single parents.
