Murray Lindsay Memorial
Are you a Little Sister or Brother? Did you have an In-School Mentor? Or maybe you went to a Boys & Girls Club when you were growing up? Young people who participated in Boys & Girls Clubs and/or Big Brothers Big Sisters programs are now eligible for a special bursary in honour or Mr. Murray Lindsay. Murray was a born and raised Edmontonian with a wonderful “dry” sense of humor who dedicated his life to family and his chosen profession as a Chartered Accountant specializing in audits. He was most passionate with regard to his volunteer work in the community at Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Edmonton. Murray was a truly optimistic fellow believing life was to be lived and cherished: “There is good and bad out there! Dive in with a positive outlook and be open to communication as you strive for happiness and success”!
This bursary is available to full-time students enrolled in any certificate, diploma, applied degree, or degree program at NAIT and is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and a minimum GPA of 3.3 in the previous semester (high school or post-secondary).
Students must complete the application to be considered for this award.
