JOEY Restaurants Leadership in Culinary Arts Scholarship

Available to a first- or second-year student enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at NAIT. Awarded on the basis of a minimum academic standing of 3.0 GPA and demonstrated leadership qualities through volunteer community services and a commitment to working with others. The candidate’s leadership will be experienced through their integrity, authenticity and willingness to take an active role in driving something that is about more than just themselves. "When people are around the winner of this award, they are simply more impactful. It is this person’s relentless passion to improve and unwillingness to ever utter the words “it is good enough”. Their energy is infectious and so is their honesty and care for others. They are the individual who always finds the time to support, coach, and ultimately elevate the success of others."
