Donald Hildebrandt Memorial Scholarship

Donald Hildebrandt graduated from the Forest and Resource Management program at NAIT in 1976. He worked as a Fisheries Technician/Biologist for Fish and Wildlife in Edson for 36 years and was well known for his wonderful sense of humor and his dedication to his work. As a biologist, Don returned to NAIT to engage students in fisheries field work, to talk to students about his career in fisheries and to share the finer details of fish aging techniques. Don was an inspiration to NAIT biology students who were just beginning careers in wildlife and fisheries; his contagious humor and enthusiasm encouraged students to pursue their dreams of working as technicians or biologists. Don passed away suddenly on March 28, 2015 at the age of 59 years.
