Alberta Sustainable Resource Development - Michael Berry Memorial Award

Michael Berry was an individual that demonstrated a love for natural resource management, but in particular field work and working with people. His desire to see respectful treatment and management of Alberta’s resources, whether it be forest, recreational opportunities or wildlife, was under pinned by knowing the resource and working with colleagues and resource users. Michael enjoyed and always looked forward to working in the field and the opportunity of meeting new people with the hope of providing them with a better understanding of Alberta’s natural resources. He realized that people can make a difference.

The Michael Berry Memorial Award is presented to a second year NAIT student who demonstrates a keen desire and aptitude for field work and a sincere desire to make a difference by working with people.

Students will automatically be considered for this award. No application is required.
