Lynden “Brent” Jeffrey Memorial Grant
Let us tell you a little bit about our brother, uncle and dear friend Lynden “Brent” Jeffrey. He was full of energy and enthusiasm for life. He had the best stories! Funny, wise, caring and loyal, he endeared himself to everyone. Always there to lend a hand or offer support, our lives were blessed because of him.
Brent was a heavy equipment operator with a Class 1.
He was a skilled mechanic. He learned that from his dad Gerald. They spent hours together on the farm repairing machinery and telling stories. Brent’s passion was in restoring old cars and trucks. He was self-taught and he excelled at it. He often said he could lose himself in the process of grinding, welding, sanding and painting. It brought him such joy and peace and he took great pride in it.
Brent was in the process of restoring his nephew’s 1956 Oldsmobile, a 1975 Firebird Esprit and his beloved 1963 GMC half ton. His passing was unexpected and his loss is deeply felt.
It is in his loving memory that we offer this grant to support female students enrolled in NAIT’s Auto Body Technician program. May it serve as a reminder that generosity, support and kindness can make a lasting
impact – just as Brent did in all our lives.
Available to female students enrolled in the Auto Body Technician program. Awarded on the basis of a written statement detailing the applicant’s personal journey to post-secondary.
